Summer Soup is Summery

I changed the job, finished school and am ready for summer – working from home for next few days and waiting to postponed visit by Mr Boyfriend. Life is steadilly and slightly hystrical which is keeping me so busy that I hardly have time to blog, which is more than annoying. Hope that I can blog again more often then over past few months. All changes are necessary and needed, everything is happening for the reason and I’m still looking for the lost time. Thos who stole it from me are requested to give it back asap, thanks 😉

As I’m constantly suffering from the time lack I  cook quickly and light. Summer’s here (minus the fact that it’s mostly raining since June) and working from home make me crave simple and quick lunches, moreover trying to still loose those extra pounds after my previous relationship. It’s so fascinating that bad relationships make us women put on weight, as the body would known that this partner ain’t good for us… curious… anyway,  I’ve been making soups… today it was Green Asia Miss You Soup. Ingredients are few, and soup is kept as minimalistic as it, but it’s a treat most definetely..The soup is delicate and spicy thanks to ginger.

Green Asia Miss You Soup

(feeds 1)

500ml water or favourite broth

1 bullionette (if you don’t have broth handy)

2 hands full of sweet pea (frozen does the trick)

1 clove garlic

5cm fresh ginger.

salt, pepper

rice noodles or any noodles if you fancy

bring your broth to boil (or water to boil, add bullionette stir to mingle), add in pea and fried together ginger and garlic. Stir, let boil until all nice and mingled. If wanted: add noodles and cook till ready (mine were rice noodles toss in and wait for 3 minutes). Season to your fancy – enjoy 🙂
